DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Miami Dolphins left tackle Laremy Tunsil is doubtful for Sunday's game against Buffalo because of an ankle injury.

Tunsil, who has started every game this season, missed practice for the third day in a row Friday. He would be replaced by Zach Sterup, who would make his first career start.

Miami claimed safety Trae Elston off waivers from the Bills and placed safety and special teams standout Michael Thomas on injured reserve with a knee injury. Elston played in 13 games with one start this season for Buffalo.

Running back Damien Williams (shoulder) and backup quarterback Matt Moore (foot) are also doubtful in the Dolphins' season finale. Defensive end Cameron Wake (illness) missed practice Friday and is questionable.
