PROVO, Utah (AP) — Yoeli Childs scored 20 points with eight rebounds, four steals and two blocked shots and Brigham Young beat Idaho State 85-71 on Thursday.

TJ Haws, Elijah Bryant and Payton Dastrup each scored 14 points for BYU (10-2). Dastrup made all five of his shots, Childs was 8 of 13 from the field and the Cougars shot 58 percent (28 of 48).

Dastrup's 3-pointer with 9:20 before halftime started a 14-4 run that put BYU up 32-23 and the lead went unchallenged the rest of the way. Bryant's 3 five minutes into the second half made it 54-34 and the Bengals trailed by at least 13 the rest of the game.

Novak Topalovic scored 16 points with 8-of-12 shooting, Geno Luzcando scored 15 points with 10 assists and Jared Stutzman scored 11 for Idaho State (4-6).

The Bengals remain winless on the road.
