Navigato leads, Toledo rolls to 83-67 win over Jackson St.

TOLDEO, Ohio (AP) — Nate Navigato scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Toledo cruised to an 83-67 win over Jackson State on Wednesday night.

It was Navigato's first double-double of the season for the Rockets (6-5). Luke Knapke added another 16 points and Jaelan Sanford had 15 points.

Toledo shot 45 percent to 33 percent for Jackson State and had a 42-31 rebounding edge.

Sanford sank two 3-pointers as part of an 11-4 start for the Rockets and they led all the way, building to a 43-27 advantage at intermission on a 10-0 surge in the final four minutes of the half.

Navigato hit a pair of 3s in a 12-5 run to open the second half, stretching it to 55-32 with 16:12 left and the Rockets cruised to the win.

Jeremiah Jefferson scored 14 points to lead the Tigers (3-9) who are 0-8 on the road.
