WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Schadrac Casimir came off the bench to drill six from distance for 22 points to help Iona roll over Holy Cross 82-68 on Tuesday night.

The Gaels (6-5) started the game by nailing eight straight from beyond the arc. They drilled 12 3-pointers in the first half to take a 38-23 lead into the break. Iona opened the second half hitting four straight from distance to go ahead 50-31 at the 16:40 mark. The Gaels knocked down 20 treys, four short of the school record.

Holy Cross closed to 64-54 with 5:16 left after Patrick Benzan made a 3-point play, Karl Charles hit from distance and Benzan nailed a trey. Iona answered with three more from long range and cruised to the win.

Deyshonee Much added 12 points with seven assists and Jan Svandrlik also had 12 points, hitting 4 of 7 from distance.

Jacob Grandison led Holy Cross (3-7) with 14 points.
