LORETTO, Pa. (AP) — Scott Meredith made 7 3-pointers off the bench for a career-high 21 points and six St. Francis (PA) players scored in double figures to beat NCAA Division III Bethany (WV) 113-77 on Monday night.

St. Francis (5-5) overcame 14 missed free throws by burying 14-of-27 shots (52 percent) from 3-point range. Andre Wolford and Keith Braxton each scored 16 points and Deivydas Kuzavas, Jamaal King and Mark Flagg all scored 10. Braxton also grabbed 11 rebounds.

The Red Flash built an 18-9 lead and scored on 10 of their first 14 possessions. Meredith made back-to-back 3s and King added another 3 for a 29-15 cushion with 10:17 remaining before intermission and they were never threatened again.

St. Francis had a 49-35 rebounding edge and passed 24 assists on 39 made shots with just nine turnovers.

Calique Jones led the Bison with 23 points and Chaice Truex added 18.
