TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Kitija Laksa buried a career-high 11 3-pointers on her way to a career-best 40 points and No. 22 South Florida romped to a 108-48 victory over Southern on Friday night.

Laksa, who made 11 straight 3s after misfiring on her first one, added six rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots and two steals for the Bulls (8-2). Laia Flores finished with 14 points, 11 assists and six rebounds, while Alyssa Rader came off the bench to score 13 with six boards. Tamara Henshaw and Laura Ferreira each scored 10 for South Florida, which shot 60 percent (37 of 62) from the floor and 68 percent (21 of 31) from behind the arc.

Briana Green topped the Jaguars (1-7) with 18 points and five rebounds. Samantha Duncan added 10 points for Southern, which made just 21 of 71 shots (30 percent), including 3 of 19 (16 percent) from 3-point range. The Jaguars have lost seven straight, all on the road.

Laksa hit a pair of 3s as South Florida jumped out to an 8-0 lead. Laksa added three more 3s and had 17 points by the end of the first quarter and the Bulls led 34-7. The South Florida lead was 60-18 by halftime.
