HAMMOND, La. (AP) — Jordan Capps scored 25 points on 10-for-13 shooting, Jabbar Singleton added 23 with five 3-pointers and six players reached double figures as Southeastern Louisiana got back on the winning track 106-77 over Southern-New Orleans on Thursday night
George Brock, who played at Southeastern last season, poured in a career-high 43 points to lead the NAIA Knights (3-7). Brock put up 32 shots, made 17 and hit seven 3-pointers. The rest of the team shot a combined 12 for 30.
Moses Greenwood had a double-double off the bench with 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Lions (6-4), who had a four-game win streak snapped on Tuesday. Joshua Filmore scored 14 points with four 3-pointers, James Currington scored 12 with three steals, a block and no turnovers. Quinton Thomas added 11 points.
The Lions shot 51 percent (40 for 79) and hit a dozen 3s — four each from Capps and Singleton. Southeastern Louisiana dominated the glass 50-28 and scored 31 points off 20 Southern-New Orleans turnovers.
