HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) — Andre Fox had 14 points and four assists, Justyn Mutts added 10 points, five rebounds and three blocked shots and High Point ran away from Johnson & Wales (N.C.) 90-54 on Friday night.

Cliff Thomas Jr. finished with a career-best 12 points and six rebounds for the Panthers (3-4), who had 12 players contribute points.

Majerle Poole scored 17 for the Wildcats, but he hit just 1 of 9 from 3-point range as Johnson & Wales shot just 25 percent from beyond the arc.

High Point wasted little time in gaining control, forging a double-digit lead 6:28 into the game and upping that to 48-22 by halftime.

Fox's jumper pushed the Panthers' advantage to 31 early in the second half and the Wildcats never got closer.

High Point connected on 35 of 64 (54.7 percent) shots from the floor, while holding the Wildcats to 30.1 percent shooting (22 of 73). The Panthers forced 21 turnovers and blocked 10 shots.
