MAGNA — Nine people were arrested early Thursday morning after officers searched a home in Magna, police said.

A search warrant was issued at a home at 2903 S. 9200 West around 1:45 a.m., according to Unified police. Nine of the 12 people in the home at the time were arrested in connection with outstanding arrest warrants, police said in a tweet. Police said they have been investigating a history of drug use at the home, and during Thursday's search, they found user amounts of drugs like marijuana, cocaine and meth.

A SWAT team also responded to the scene. The house has been “closed for occupancy,” police said.

Officials said three people refused to leave the home during the search and were pepper sprayed. They were treated at the scene before being taken into custody.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.
