MURRAY — A man who was hit by a TRAX train on Wednesday afternoon has died from his injuries, according to UTA spokesman Steve Allnatt.
The collision took place near the Murray North-Fashion Place West area at about 3 p.m., UTA reported on Twitter.
TRAX Alert 3:03 pm: Bus Bridge activated btwn Murray North-Fashion Place West due to police activity. Expect 20 min Red & Blue Line delays.

Witnesses at the scene told UTA police that the man who was hit was distracted and had headphones on, Allnatt said. He did not release the name or age of the man.
The Blue and Red TRAX lines experienced delays as police processed the scene, and a bus bridge was temporarily put in place.
