OGDEN — Ogden police are treating the death of man as a homicide investigation.

Officers responded to the area of 800 27th Street on a shots fired call about 4:30 p.m. One victim, a man, was found outside and was soon declared deceased.

Initially, Ogden police called the situation "an unattended death investigation." They have since changed it to a homicide investigation with at least one suspect outstanding.

Detectives, however, said they had not identified the victim as of 9 p.m. and witnesses were not cooperating with investigators. A motive for the incident was not immediately known.
