SALT LAKE CITY — Tommy McGrath scored six touchdowns to help Skyline retain possession of “The Rock” with a 45-33 win over rival Olympus in a key Region 6 game Friday night at Skyline.
McGrath opened the scoring with a 1-yard TD toss to Taylor Larsen — his first of three — in the first quarter, but the Titans pulled within 21-19 at halftime with a pair of touchdown runs by Harrison Creer.
It would be as close as Olympus would get.
McGrath slung three touchdowns to three difference receivers during a 21-7 third quarter, and the Eagles pulled away for good.
The win sets up a showdown next Wednesday with third-ranked Lehi (8-2, 5-0) for a chance to share the region title.
