SALT LAKE CITY — From corn mazes to spooky rides to an authentic Day of the Dead celebration, there’s no shortage of budget-friendly family events across Utah. Watch ginormous pumpkins — some over 1,000 lbs. — get carved out and rowed across Oquirrh Lake in Daybreak.

The event features traditional Mexican musical & dance performances, traditional food, a beer garden, and a variety of family activities.
