TAYLORSVILLE — A man suspected of drunk driving crashed through a fence and a window at Eisenhower Junior High School on Saturday morning.
The crash took place just after 11 a.m. at the school, 4351 S. Redwood Road, according to Unified Police.
There were no injuries to the driver or any pedestrians.
Police were thankful the situation wasn’t any worse — several nearby athletic fields were full of people playing youth soccer games, according to Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke.
The driver, a 26-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and later released after taking a blood test. UPD officials said via Twitter that "charges will depend on the results of blood draw."
