LONDON (AP) — Marcedes Lewis caught three of Blake Bortles' four touchdown passes as the Jacksonville Jaguars routed the Baltimore Ravens 44-7 today in London. Allen Hurns and Leonard Fournette also scored touchdowns for the Jaguars in their fifth appearance at Wembley Stadium. Baltimore managed just 186 yards of total offense, including minus-1 yard in the first quarter. Jacksonville improves to 2-1. The Ravens are 1-2.
UNDATED (AP) — NFL players are responding in various ways to President Donald Trump's criticism of players kneeling during the national anthem. Most have stood during the pre-game anthem with arms locked in a show of solidarity, while many knelt or sat in protest. The Pittsburgh Steelers remained in the locker room while the anthem was performed before their game with the Chicago Bears.
PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Pittsburgh Penguins say they've accepted an invitation from President Donald Trump to go to the White House to celebrate their latest Stanley Cup. The Penguins say they respect the office of the president and "the long tradition of championship teams visiting the White House." The Penguins were honored by Barack Obama after winning the Stanley Cup in 2016 and previously by George H.W. Bush in the early 1990s.
BALTIMORE (AP) — The Orioles have scratched starting pitcher Dylan Bundy with a left hamstring strain ahead of today's home game against Tampa Bay. The right-hander's status for the rest of the season now appears to be in flux. Bundy is 13-9 with a 4.24 ERA over 28 starts and has already reached a career high in innings at 169 2/3. Chris Tillman replaced Bundy as Baltimore's starting pitcher. Tillman is 1-7 with a 7.66 ERA and winless since his first start of the season in May.
SEATTLE (AP) — Corey Kluber (KLOO'-bur) can improve his American League Cy Young Award resume this afternoon when Cleveland faces Seattle. Kluber is 5-0 with a 1.15 ERA in his last five starts and hasn't allowed a run in 22 innings. He is 2-1 with a 1.96 ERA in three career starts against Seattle.
