(KSL news) A candlelight vigil was held tonight at the City County Building to start the Week Without Violence.
More than 3,700 flags line the lawn of the downtown building. Each represents an adult or child who left violent homes to find refuge in a shelter.
The week-long campaign is designed to raise awareness about violence in homes and throughout the community.
