WEBER CANYON — Police have identified the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash that took place Saturday afternoon.

Ogden resident Jennifer Flinders, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred at about 1:45 p.m. about 5 miles east of Ogden on State Route 39.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 58-year-old man from Ogden, lost control of the bike, which flipped over and ejected both passengers. Neither rider was wearing a helmet.

The driver, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a local hospital in serious, but stable condition.

As of Saturday, investigators were still working to determine if the driver had been impaired by drugs or alcohol.

The crash forced closures of SR 39 in both directions for several hours on Saturday as authorities processed the crash scene.
