(KSL News) The charges against an Ogden man accused of murder have gotten even more serious.
Jacob Daniel Ethridge was charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Yesterday prosecutors amended those charges to aggravated murder. That change could make Ethridge eligible for the death penalty.
Prosecutors say Ethridge shot and killed Teresa Rene Tingey and Rosanna Marie Cruz in July and then went to police and confessed to the slayings.
