CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Andre Levrone arrived with a splash as a freshman receiver at Virginia. He showed an ability to leap and make catches, to win one-on-one battles for the ball in traffic. But the promise he showed in 2014 has been derailed by injuries. He heads into his final season looking to finally live up to expectations.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Florida State feels like it has talent at receiver, but the group goes into the season on Sept. 2 against Alabama lacking in depth and experience. The Seminoles lost their top four pass catchers from last season due to graduation and early departures for the NFL draft. Florida State will be counting heavily on a pair of juniors who emerged over the second half of last season in Nyqwan Murray and Auden Tate.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina State's veteran defensive line is ready for a leading role in 2017. The line returns four senior starters and two key reserves, headlined by NFL first-round draft prospect Bradley Chubb at defensive end. Coach Dave Doeren says the team is working to sort through the depth chart behind the starting quartet during preseason camp.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — Mark Richt has started what he calls "The U Network" at Miami, an outreach to former players, especially those needing jobs. Dozens of former players and their families attended the first event, as did numerous companies looking to make hires or talk about what's happening in the business world.
