SALT LAKE CITY — A California woman who was detained after allegedly creating a disturbance at the airport was arrested again a few minutes later after police say she vandalized a police car.

Danielle Marie Martinez, 22, of Rancho Cucamonga, California, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of felony destruction of property.

About 10 p.m. Tuesday, Martinez "yanked a phone off a wall and was threatening Delta agents in the D concourse," according to a jail report, and Delta refused to let her fly on its airline. The woman was detained by Airport Authority police for investigation of disorderly conduct and intentional destruction of property.

Martinez was issued a citation, but upon receiving it, "said that she would refuse to pay for the citation and stated that she didn't care if she got a warrant, she was never coming back to Utah. Ms. Martinez crumbled up the citation and threw it on the floor," the report states.

Just two to three minutes after she was released, an officer noticed Martinez standing by a patrol car. Martinez claimed she was lost. But a few minutes after that, an officer noticed an expletive had been "keyed" into the front fender with 8-inch high letters, the report states.

"After reviewing camera footage she had keyed a total of six vehicles," according to the report.

Martinez was rearrested and booked into jail.
