CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. rose 2 cents at 4.7975 bushel; Sept. corn gained 1.50 cents at 3.7425 bushel; Sept. oats was up 3.25 cents at $2.9175 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans advanced 6 cents at $9.9475
bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Aug. live cattle was unchanged at $1.1430 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle gained 1.35 cents at $1.4782 a pound; while Aug. lean hogs gained .25 csent at $.8225 a pound.
