GARDEN CITY — One person was killed and another critically injured after being ejected from a vehicle during a crash just outside Garden City on U.S. 89 Thursday, police said.
The Utah Highway Patrol responded to the accident near the first Chevron gas station going into Bear Lake around 1:45 p.m.
One occupant died shortly after the crash and the other is in critical condition after suffering life-threatening injuries, according to police. A medical chopper was dispatched to the scene.
The cause of the accident is still unknown.
