(KSL News) -- Four people have filed a lawsuit alleging they were seriously injured by a truck explosion in Spanish Fork Canyon last year.
The blast was caused when a truck carrying explosives rolled. It caused several small fires and left a huge crater in the road.
Evaline, Joel, Karen and Billy Joel White are suing the R&R Trucking Company -- as well as several employees -- claiming their injuries could have been avoided had the truck been properly loaded and the driver properly trained.
All four claim they suffered hearing loss, mental distress and post-traumatic syndrome after the accident.
The R&R Trucking company denies the allegations.
