RAWLINS, Wyo. (AP) — Two accidental deaths were reported in southern Wyoming over the weekend.
The Carbon County sheriff's office says a 13-year-old Utah boy died in an all-terrain vehicle crash on Saturday in the Ryan Park area. Officers say the victim and his cousin were riding ATVs on a U.S. Forest Service road at around noon Saturday when the victim's ATV struck a tree. Anthony Murry of West Jordan died at the scene.
A day earlier, 26-year-old Lane Swedlund of Laramie died in a rafting accident on the Encampment River. The Rawlins Times reports (bit.ly/2s6DzNl) an autopsy was planned to determine his cause of death. The sheriff's office says neither Swedlund nor the other two occupants of the raft were wearing life vests.
