SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Bill Riley was named play-by-play announcer Thursday for Utah football broadcasts on KALL 700 AM.
Riley replaces Matt Thomas, whose contract was not renewed.
Riley has done pre-game and post-game shows for Utah football and basketball on the station since 2004. He will work with analyst Frank Dolce, a former Ute quarterback.
