NASVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators don't have their top center, and their captain remains day to day. But they still have Pekka Rinne (PEH'-kuh RIH'-neh) in net and now have a chance at history on their own ice. With a win over the Anaheim Ducks tonight, they will earn their first Stanley Cup Final berth. The Predators hold a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference finals.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — The Golden State Warriors could advance to their third straight NBA Finals tonight. They hold a 3-0 lead over the San Antonio Spurs in the their best-of-seven Western Conference final. The Spurs are without injured stars Tony Parker and Kawhi (kuh-WY') Leonard.

CESENA, Italy (AP) — American motorcycle racer Nicky Hayden has died, five days after he was hit by a car while training on his bicycle. Hayden was 35. Maurizio Bufalini Hospital in Italy said last week that Hayden had severe cerebral damage and multiple traumatic injuries. The car that hit Hayden had its front windshield smashed. Judicial authorities have opened an investigation into the incident and have questioned the 30-year-old driver.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Police say Indianapolis 500 pole-winner Scott Dixon and fellow former race winner Dario Franchitti were robbed at gunpoint while in a Taco Bell drive-thru lane Sunday night. Police say the robbery happened less than a mile from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where Dixon had hours earlier won the top starting position for next Sunday's Indy 500. Police say two suspects ran away after the robbery and that Dixon's wife, Emma, was also in the vehicle. Officers later arrested two teens, ages 15 and 14.

NEW YORK (AP) — Baseball games will soon arrive on virtual-reality headsets. Video in the new At Bat VR app won't be in VR. Rather, the app places you behind home plate and shows you graphical depictions of each pitch. That includes a colored streak — red for strikes and green for balls — tracing the ball's trajectory. The VR app comes out June 1 and works with Android phones and headsets compatible with Google's Daydream VR system. There's no version for iPhones.
