PROVO — Provo police are searching for a man involved in a shooting that injured one person early Sunday morning.

Investigators believe a fight erupted at an apartment near 400 S. 600 West at about 4 a.m. The fight continued into an alley where police say 18-year-old Ulisses Rodriguez shot 25-year-old German Garcia. Both men were at a party earlier that night, according to Provo police.

Garcia was struck four times with a small caliber handgun, which was recovered at the scene. Police said Garcia is in good condition at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Rodriguez is asked to contact the Provo Police Department at 801-852-6210.
