(KSL News) A man accused in a stabbing outside of a restaurant in Orem is now out of the hospital and in jail.
Sergio Weffer has been recovering from a gunshot wound--a shot by an off-duty police officer who was trying to break up the attack.
Weffer is accused of using a pair of scissors to attack a man outside of an IHOP on Sept. 13.
Police believe Weffer may have suffered a mental breakdown, which led to the attack.

The victim of the stabbing was treated at the hospital and released.
