NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma has signed former Kentucky wide receiver Jeff Badet.

The school made the announcement Thursday.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Badet is scheduled to earn a bachelor's degree from Kentucky next month. As a graduate transfer, he will have one season with the Sooners and will be eligible immediately.

Badet started all 13 games for the Wildcats last season and finished with 31 catches for a team-high 670 yards and four touchdowns. He averaged 21.6 yards per catch and had seven receptions of at least 40 yards on the year. He will help Oklahoma soften the blow from losing Biletnikoff Award winner Dede Westbrook.

Badet also had a 22.9-yard average on kickoff returns. He finished his three-season Kentucky career with 82 catches for 1,385 yards and seven receiving scores.
