(KSL News) A brush fire came dangerously close to homes this afternoon in Sandy.
The fire started in a field just above 1300 East on 103rd South. It burned just over an acre and came within 50 yards of two homes above on the hillside.
Fire crews were able to get it under control before they had to evacuate anyone.
