OGDEN — A man died Friday evening after crashing into a tree in Ogden, police said.
The man was driving a sedan northbound around 1600 S. Washington Boulevard when he veered off the right side of the roadway about 5:20 p.m. and hit the tree, Ogden Police Lt. Brian Eynon said.
The man died at the scene, Eynon said. A man and woman who were passengers in the car were expected to survive, though their exact condition was not released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. The man's name was not released Friday evening.
