Preet Bharara (buh-RAH'-ruh) is staying on as U.S. attorney in Manhattan after receiving assurances last year from Sessions and President Donald Trump that they wanted him to stay on. That's according to a person with knowledge of Bharara's actions, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity. There's no comment from the Justice Department or Bharara's office.
WASHINGTON (AP) — A political consultant and former campaign adviser to President Donald Trump has told The Washington Times that he communicated last year with an individual involved in hacking Democratic National Committee emails. The U.S. government concluded that the Russian government directed the DNC hack in an attempt to influence the outcome of the presidential election. The FBI and congressional committees are investigating.

But Bevin said today that "ultimately these differences of opinion will be rectified."

No one was injured.
