REXBURG — A chicken delivered a “fowl” message to a student apartment Saturday.
An apartment of female Brigham Young University-Idaho students got an unexpected surprise when a live chicken was thrown through their open door. Attached to the chicken was a note that said, “Screw you, Kyler.”
However, police reports show a Kyler was not living at that apartment, reported EastIdahoNews.com.
Rexburg Police Capt. Randy Lewis said the female owner of the chicken fled after throwing the bird and has not been identified.
“We don’t know who it was,” Lewis said. “But no laws were broken in this case.”
The students decided to keep the chicken, Lewis said, and planned to give it away on Facebook.
