NEW YORK (AP) — Keith Braxton's awkward heave from beyond the arc went in at the buzzer giving Saint Francis (Pa.) a 71-70 victory over Wagner on Saturday, sending the Red Flash into the Northeast Conference Tournament championship game.

Michael Carey's hook shot gave the Seahawks (16-15) the lead with nine seconds remaining before Jamaal King drove then kicked the ball out to Braxton, who was smothered by a defender but launched the ball to the basket where it rolled around, almost out, then fell through the hoop.

No. 4 seed Saint Francis will play Tuesday at top-seeded Mount St. Mary's, a 75-66 winner over No. 7 seed Robert Morris, for the tournament championship and an NCAA Tournament berth.

The Red Flash lost a 14-point first-half lead with the second half seeing seven ties until the exchange of the final two field goals.

Isaiah Blackmon scored 20 points and Braxton added 15 with eight rebounds for the Red Flash. Both had three 3-pointers.

Carey made four 3-pointers and scored 29 points with 10 rebounds for his 27th career double-double and Corey Henson added five 3-pointers and 25 points for the third-seeded Seawolves (16-14).
