BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) — Chris Clemons scored 27 points, added eight rebounds, and seventh-seeded Campbell eliminated No. 10 seed Presbyterian from the Big South Championship with an 81-62 first-round win on Tuesday night.

The win moves the Camels (15-16) into a quarterfinal matchup on Thursday at No. 2 seed UNC Asheville. The loss likely ends the Blue Hose season.

Shane Whitfield finished with 13 points and Kyre' Hamer added 10 for Campbell, whose 19-point win set a conference tournament record for largest first-round margin of victory in conference history. Overall the Camels shot 57.8 percent and made 23 of 28 at the line.

Darius Moore hit seven three pointers and led Presbyterian (5-25) with 21 points.

Campbell led 45-17 at halftime, its largest advantage of the year after 20 minutes. A Hamer jumper with 18:01 extended the Camels' lead to 30 and they coasted the rest of the way.
