PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Golden State Warriors improved their NBA-best record to 50-9 by edging the Philadelphia 76ers 119-108 despite All-Star Stephen (STEH'-fihn) Curry going 0-for-11 from three-point range. Kevin Durant picked up the slack by scoring 27.

CLEVELAND (AP)— The Cleveland Cavaliers kept pace with the Warriors in the race for best record in the NBA -- and No. 1 seeding in the NBA playoffs -- by beating Milwaukee 102-95. The Cavaliers are 41-17, the best record in the Eastern Conference. Kyrie (KY'-ree) Irving led the Cavs with 25 and LeBron James, who missed Saturday's loss to Chicago, returned to the lineup and scored 24.

CLEVELAND (AP)— Deron (DEH'-rihn) Williams, an Olympian and three-time All-Star who has never made it to the NBA Finals, signed as a free agent with the Cavs. That gives the defending NBA champions the backup point guard they've coveted and another playmaker to help them defend their title.

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Top-ranked Kansas rallied from 10 points down in the second half to beat ninth-ranked Oklahoma 73-63 in the Jayhawks first game since being elevated to the top spot in the Associated Press Top-25. Frank Mason III scored 23 points in his final game at Allen Fieldhouse for the Big 12 champion Jayhawks.

PITTSBURGH (AP)— The Pittsburgh Steelers have put the exclusive franchise tag on All-Pro running back Le'Veon (LEH'-vee-ahn) Bell to gain some time in working out a lifetime deal for 25-year-old star. The Steelers have until July 15 to reach an agreement with Bell on a new contract. If not, he will make the average salary of the top five running backs in the league in 2017.
