MILLCREEK, Utah (AP) — Police in Utah say a 23-year-old man suspected of stabbing two men at a party in Millcreek faces aggravated assault charges.
Lt. Brian Lohrke of the Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake says police were called out to the apartment party shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday.
Police learned that one victim had been taken to a hospital and another was at the party with stab wounds to the hand.
Police say everyone involved was extremely intoxicated. Officers eventually arrested Claudio Trujillo at an apartment next to the party.
He faces two counts of aggravated assault.
The victims have not been identified, but Lohrke said both are in their 20s.
