POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) — Marquis Wright scored 21 points with six rebounds and six assists as Siena defeated Marist 84-77 on Saturday night.

Wright made 7 of 15 shots, leading four players into double-figure scoring. Nico Clareth added 18 points in his second game back after missing the seven, while Lavon Long and Javion Ogunyemi tossed in 16 apiece.

The Saints (12-14, 9-6 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) took the lead for good at 59-57 on a Wright layup with 8:12 to play. Wright had broken a 36-36 halftime tie with a steal and a bucket to open the second frame. He made six-straight free throws in the last 44 seconds and Clareth added a pair.

Marist (6-20, 3-12) came as close as 75-73 when Richie Mitchell hit a 3-pointer with 48 seconds left but the Red Foxes couldn't get closer.

Khallid Hart led Marist with 24 points and Brian Parker added 16 before fouling out with 14 seconds left.
