SALT LAKE CITY — Rodney Hood can't catch a break.

The third-year guard underwent an MRI on his right knee Thursday afternoon, which revealed a bone contusion and a Grade 1 lateral collateral ligament (LCL) sprain.

Hood will be re-evaluated in a week, and will miss at least those games.

The injury happened in the second quarter of last night's Jazz/Bucks game:

When Hood faced a similar injury in January, the Jazz started Joe Ingles at the shooting guard spot in his place. It's probably reasonable to expect the team to do so again.

Hood has averaged 13.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game for the Jazz this season. Without Hood in the lineup in 10 games this season, the Jazz are 5-5.
