HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah (AP) -- The aerospace museum at Hill Air Force Base has a new permanent fixture.
A Vietnam-era helicopter -- known as an MH-53M Pave Low -- was flown in Thursday and grounded for good.
The chopper is the latest addition to the Hill Aerospace Museum. It's expected to be on display in the coming weeks.
The 37-year-old helicopter got its start in Utah. It was first used by the 1550th Aircrew Training and Test Wing at Hill Air Force Base.
The helicopter later was used in missions over Vietnam and for photographic surveillance work in the former Soviet Union and China.
All MH-53M Pave Low helicopters are being retired from the Air Force. They're being replaced by the CV-22 Osprey.
