SALT LAKE CITY — For the ninth time in 10 years, Kyle Whittingham has made a change at offensive coordinator.
The latest hire is Troy Taylor, a former Cal quarterback who comes to Salt Lake City by way of Eastern Washington.
"I think it's one of the most stable programs in the Pac 12," Taylor said. "It just kind of checked all the boxes for me."
The new FBS coordinator spoke with KSL Sports at length about his offensive philosophy, coaching current Washington star Jake Browning in high school, and what he hopes to bring to the Utes.
"We're spread-based, and going to attack the entire field," Taylor said. "We'll be dynamic, we'll go fast, and our goal is to keep the defense on their heels at all times."
