SALT LAKE CITY — Three more stories from the world of sports in today's From Left Field.
1. This fan loves his mayonnaise
Sports fans have produced some interesting moments in the background of those live shots of basketball broadcasters nestled in front of the fans usually shot during a break in the action or before and after a game.
Thursday produced perhaps the weirdest video bomb yet — or at least the clubhouse leader for that title this season.
During a broadcast of the Belmont-Tennessee Martin women's basketball game, a fan video bombed the broadcasters by apparently eating a spoonful of mayonnaise from a giant bottle.
In addition to getting his fame for his creative video bomb, the fan wins because Belmont went on to win the game 71-66 to improve to 11-5 on the season.
2. Raptors player drops his shorts
Speaking of weird moments and basketball, Raptors forward Lucas Nogueira also fostered one of those during the Jazz-Raptors game Thursday night.
Nogueira appeared to be tucking his jersey into his shorts as Jazz forward Derrick Favors was shooting a free throw in the third quarter. However, he did so dropping his shorts a little bit too far.
Whoops!
Whether it was intentional or not it's irrelevant because it worked because Favors missed the shot.
The Raptors went on to win 101-93, and there's nothing embarrassing about a win.
3. Hockey team rolls out Rocky-themed jerseys
Minor league franchises often have special events to draw in attendance. For the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL, it’s Rocky Balboa-themed jerseys for a game Saturday against Brampton.

To sweeten this already awesome jersey set, the team will auction off the jerseys after the game and proceeds of those sales will go to charity, according to the team's website.
