LOS ANGELES (AP) — Sadie Edwards and Courtney Jaco combined for 30 points and powered the Southern Cal women to a 79-54 dismantling of 20th-ranked Colorado in a Pac-12 opener on Friday night.

Four Trojans reached double figures — Edwards, 16, Jaco 14, Minyon Moore 12 and Aliyah Mazyck 11 — while shooting 47 percent and harassing the Buffaloes into 24 turnovers. Kristen Simon just missed her seventh double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds.

The loss was the second-straight for Colorado, which fell 82-75 to Wyoming before Christmas.

USC blocked eight shots, swiped 11 steals, scored 26 points off turnovers and another 26 on the fast break. The Trojans also out-muscled Colorado 52-34 on points in the paint despite losing the rebound battle 44-38.

Edwards scored back-to-back baskets after steals by Jaco and Mazyck as USC forced five Colorado turnovers in as many minutes to run off with the early lead.

Kennedy Leonard led the Buffs with 19 points. Colorado shot 31 percent for the game, suffering through a 3-for-16 second quarter.
