James Madison beats Eastern Mennonite to snap 4-game skid

HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) — Paulius Satkus scored a career-high 22 points and James Madison won for the first time at home this season with an 82-65 victory over Division III Eastern Mennonite on Wednesday night.

Satkus was 9 of 12 from the field. Jackson Kent added 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting for James Madison (2-11), which shot 54 percent from the floor. Ramone Snowden had 12 points and Ivan Lukic chipped in 10 points for the Dukes. Joey McLean added eight points and a game-high five assists.

Isaiah Harris-Winn and Jerome Jones scored 16 points apiece to lead Eastern Mennonite.

The game was tied 37-37 at halftime. The Dukes used a 20-10 run and led 63-52 midway through the second half and cruised from there.

James Madison snapped a four-game skid and bounced back from a one-point loss at home to UMBC on Friday.
