RADFORD, Va. (AP) — Ed Polite Jr. scored 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Radford over Grace College 82-58 on Friday.
Polite posted his fifth double-double this season. Justin Cousin added four 3-pointers and 16 points, Donald Hicks scored 13 points, Darius Bolstad was 6 of 6 off the bench for 12 points with eight rebounds. Christian Bradford dished seven assists.
The Highlanders (5-7) made 10 of 25 from the arc in snapping a two-game losing streak in their nonconference finale. With the win over the NAIA Lancers, the Highlanders have won 36 consecutive games against non-NCAA Division-I opponents.
The Lancers (8-8) were led by Jaret Sons and Tre Olive with 10 points each. They have lost their last seven games.
Radford led 39-32 at halftime and quickly went up by double figures in the second half on a 3-pointer by Cousin and a basket by Randy Phillips.
