AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) — Frank Toohey scored 17 points and Air Force held off UC Davis 77-67 on Thursday to end a three-game losing streak.

Jacob Van and reserve Dane Norman added 13 points apiece for the Falcons (7-6), who hit 10 of 21 3-pointers while the Aggies (6-7) were 4 of 23 behind the arc.

Air Force stretched a two-point halftime advantage to 16 with 13:30 to play. The Falcons had a 21-7 run with four 3-pointers — two by Van — and Toohey's 3-point play.

Davis clawed back, cutting it to 60-56 with 5:56 to play on a pair of free throws by Chima Moneke but the Aggies made just 2 of 9 shots down the stretch. Moneke finished with 13 points and Brynton Lemar had 14.

Air Force shot 56 percent in the second half (15 of 27), including 7 of 12 from 3-point range. The Aggies shot 39 percent for the game.
