NEW YORK (AP) — NBA-leading Golden State takes a five-game winning streak into its game at Brooklyn tonight in the start of a three-game holiday road swing. The Warriors have won their last two games by a combined 75 points, including a 30-point blowout of Northwest Division leading Utah Tuesday night.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — San Antonio takes an NBA best 15-1 road mark and five-game winning streak into its game with the Clippers in Los Angeles tonight. COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Surprising Columbus takes a franchise best 10-game winning streak into a showdown with Metropolitan Division co-leading Pittsburgh tonight in NHL play. SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Jaromir Jagr (YAH'-oh-meer YAH'-gur) can move into second-place on the NHL all-time scoring list with a point against Boston tonight. That would put the 44-year old ahead of Mark Messier (MEH'-see-yay) and still leave him 969 points behind all-time leader Wayne Gretzky.
