KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Kedar Edwards scored 18 points and grabbed 17 rebounds and Tennessee-Martin collected its 10th nonconference victory in 14 starts by knocking off Missouri-Kansas City, 77-66, on Tuesday night.

Edwards became just the third Skyhawk to ever post a triple-double in the team's 97-72 win over Bethune-Cookman Saturday, and just the 11th Ohio Valley Conference player to accomplish the feat.

The Skyhawks forged a nine-point lead in the first half.

Malik London had 16 points and Kahari Beaufort added another 11 coming off the UT Martin bench. The Skyhawks shot 29 of 67 from the field and held a 59-27 advantage on the glass.

LaVell Boyd knocked down 7 of 12 shots from beyond the arc and scored a career-high 32 points to lead UMKC (7-7). Overall Boyd hit 9 of 20 from the field. The Kangaroos shot 21 of 67 (31.3 percent).
