DETROIT (AP) — Josh McFolley drilled 6 of 9 from beyond the arc and totaled 24 points as Detroit Mercy earned its second win of the season, upsetting Western Kentucky 85-79 on Saturday.

Detroit Mercy (2-9) won its opener, a 99-69 victory over Division III Adrian College before dropping nine straight.

McFolley dished out a career-best eight assists and had three steals. Jaleel Hogan was 9 of 13 from the floor for 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Corey Allen added 16 points and Chris Jenkins chipped in 12 for the Titans.

Western Kentucky led 40-38 at the break. The teams traded the lead until McFolley drilled a trey and followed with a layup to give the Titans the lead for good, 65-64, with 8:29 remaining. The Titans finished on a 24-13 run.

Que Johnson led Western Kentucky (4-7) with 21 points. Justin Johnson added 15 and grabbed 14 rebounds.
