IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Three eastern Idaho agencies have upgraded to a new system intended to streamline report writing and improve the ability of dispatchers to receive calls.
The Post Register reports (http://bit.ly/2glHqUa ) in a story on Thursday that the Idaho Falls Police Department, Idaho Falls Fire Department and Bonneville County Sheriff's Office switched over to the new system in August and that the transition has gone well.
The $1.8 million system replaces a 9-year-old system that officials say had become obsolete.
